The purpose of this site is to get differing, or even directly opposed, views to coexist within the same space. In doing this, we hope to create dialogue and discussions that move beyond the vitriol, name calling, straw-men, etc, and become a productive exchange of ideas.
We plan to post an article from one of us at least once a week, and will be posting user submissions on a less defined schedule (this feature is not implemented in the site yet, so send anything through the either contact form or directly to us at opendiscourseproject@gmail.com so we can see it and upload it).
There is also a weekly podcast where we actually sit down and a discussion about events, issues, and opinions ranging across the political spectrum.
